Trick-or-Treat Invitation Bag Collection Day

Do you ever want to invite your neighbor to church, but it just feels awkward? What do you say? How do you do it in a way that doesn’t feel slimy or weird, especially if they decline? Well, this Halloween we want to use the opportunity of passing out candy as a way of inviting your neighbors and friends to church.
Beginning 10/17, the welcome desk will have invite cards and cellophane bags bundled together. All we are asking if for you to place your candy that you’ll pass out on Halloween in these bags with the invite card and pass out the bag to anyone who knocks on your door. An easy way to invite someone to church! And, as Pastor Trevor reminded us, “You never know what one word of encouragement, one gesture or expression of love might impact someone for eternity.”
