Director of Worship Arts
Director of Youth Ministries
Josh Tidmore has been living in Leander since he was 11 years old. He is married to Gabriela “Tomi” and their children are Kayden, Ella, and CharliRae. Since 2011, Josh has been a youth volunteer, a Youth Spiritual Formation Leader, and a Primary Worship Leader for Rockbridge Church (Lighthouse Student Ministry). Due to his credentials and his dedication to youth ministries, Good News UMC added Josh to their team as the Director of Youth Ministries.
In 2011, Josh felt a call to youth ministry when he volunteered on a youth mission trip. What he witnessed on that trip amazed him! “Being able to encourage that transformation, witness that transformation, and then empower the youth to go out and be the light in the lives of others after they were transformed by God, is beyond a privilege. It’s downright awesome! Because seeing them being transformed changed my life!” He realized that the youth have the power to change the trajectory of somebody’s whole existence (children, youth & adults) through authentic repentance and living for God in all areas of their life. “…it forever changed me, my direction, and my heart and my purpose! So why am I passionate about youth ministry? They have the ability to change the world!”
